straight out of high school and having a love for science and art, I decided to attend cosmetology school. Since graduating in 2007 I completely fell in love with everything hair and never looked back. It was the best leap of faith i have ever taken. I opened Honey Hive Salon in 2018 to curate the kind of environment I could thrive in.

I specialize in Extensions, natural lived-in balayage and beautiful, dimensional, adventurous colors. I have a soft spot for pixies and long flowing layers. Most importantly I love the relationships I can create and cultivate. Some people have been with me for a quarter of my life and I have watched them change and grow into the best human beings.
I am a midwesterner (probably) till i die, i was raised in Roscoe Village and have jumped around surrounding neighborhoods. in my off time i love to spend time with my kids, Spencer and Selena and my many furbabies. I love thriller lifetime movies, leisurely hikes. soaking up any type of body of water and i know you didn't ask but I could probably eat my weight in sushi if given the opportunity.
I am an infp with ADHD and i feel like that probably describes me best.
